The territory of Baunei lends itself very well to quad excursions, with its 220 sq km, the largest among the municipalities of Ogliastra, it is one of the most suggestive of Sardinia. For the most part uncontaminated, it presents an invaluable environmental heritage, rich in endemic species that characterize the typical flora and fauna of the area.

CALA SISINE TOUR
This itinerary leads us from the Golgo plateau through the Codula of Sisine, up to the beach of Sisine, which is famous for its crystal clear waters.
PANORAMIC TOUR
Starting from Baunei, this itinerary will take you to Ginnirco, then up to the Golgo plateau where we will visit San Pietro church, Su Sterru and As Piscinas.
ELTILI TOUR
This itinerary shows us the history and nature of the Eltili valley, the Mamudorco waterfalls, the sheepfolds and the church of Santa Lucia and the rich wildlife.
Baunei and its territory
The territory of Baunei, with its coasts and mountains, is a paradise of remarkable beauty located along the eastern side of Sardinia. The coast of Baunei is one of the most enchanting marine environments in the Mediterranean, where, to name a few, are sited Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Cala Mariolu and Cala Goloritzé. Its inside is composed by karst valleys, the basaltic plateau of the Golgo, with "Su Sterru", which is the deepest chasm in Europe. The karst plateau of Margine is characterized by the presence of naturilistic species of historical importance, testimonies of the past of all historical periods, with presence of anthropozoic deposits from the pre-nuragic period, nuraghes, nuragic villages, fortresses and Tombs of giants from the nuragic period, settlements and coins from the imperial and republican age, and the medieval church of Santa Maria Navarrese and Eltili from the Roman period.
